High availability

Add 2 or more satellites, $99 a month each, on Premium. Each runs in another zone of your region and takes your computers' connections alongside your main server.

A server stops? Your computers move to another one within a minute, and keep sending.
Nothing is lost. If the main server stops, the satellites keep collecting and hand everything over when it's back.
One dashboard. Your dashboard and settings live on the main server; while it's being restored, collecting carries on.

Is the hosting price the whole bill?: No: hosting is added to your plan. You pay your plan (Standard or Premium) as usual, plus the hosting price for the size you choose, plus storage beyond 250 GB.
We're on Enterprise. What does hosting cost?: We quote it for you: Enterprise hosting can need more than one of these sizes, such as several servers, a particular region or your own network rules. Talk to sales and we'll work it out together.
Where does my data live?: On a server that's yours alone, with a storage bucket of its own, in the EU or the US, as you choose. Self-hosted, your data never leaves your network; hosted by us, it's on the server we run for you, and we look after it as your processor. We never share a server between customers.
Who at SpanDock can see it?: Only the people who run the servers, and only to keep yours working: updates, backups, and a problem you've asked us to look at. Prompts and tool contents are redacted at the source, as they are on a server you run yourself.
How does the trial work?: Ask for it and we'll get back to you, usually within a working day. Once we've approved it, your Small server is up within minutes, for 14 days. At the end, choose a size to keep it, or it stops and is deleted two weeks later.
Can I move to my own server later?: Yes. We hand you a full backup of your server to restore on one you run, and your license moves with you. Moving the other way works the same.
What if I cancel?: Your server runs to the end of the period you've paid for, then stops. For 30 days after that we can still hand you a full backup; then the server and its backups are deleted.
