Relay status
The SpanDock relays carry the encrypted tunnel between your clients and servers. Tunnel traffic stays end-to-end encrypted and unreadable to the relay. Each relay is checked every minute.

How this page works
- Every minute, our monitoring checks that each relay answers. A relay counts as down after two failed checks in a row, and up again after two good ones.
- Degraded means the latest check failed or answered slowly, or the relay hasn’t been checked enough yet.
- Each bar is one day (UTC). Green: every check passed. Amber: some checks failed, but at least 95% passed. Red: fewer than 95% passed. Grey: no data. Hover over a bar for that day’s figures.
- The page shows each relay’s location only. It updates every minute.
